The Sins of Our Father

It is no little degree of trust that a flock places in its shepherd, the children on their spiritual father. He is responsible for teaching, leading, counciling, and protecting his congregation from the tides of cultural corruption, from the wolves of the world who would denigrate and destroy the honor and integrity and spirtual vitality of God's followers.

Now hear me, I am not throwing the first rock. I don't consider myself a shining beacon of perfection. But I am not a priest, and my integrity IS intact. The first stone was throne by Jim himself when he threw away years of serving God and man to satiate his own lust. When I think of the times I have had him into my house, the times he played with my children...my throat gets tight, my breaths short, and there is a burning in my eyes because that fraud spent decades burrowing his hooks into us before destroying everything.

I am a sinner, I know that, and I need to be forgiven again and again, but by God never a filthy whore. Now he is paying for his fall. Now and forever.

I can only pray for your forgiveness.

May God have mercy on all of us.
